Do you want to invest in a natural gas boiler to save money on your energy bills? Do you already have a natural gas boiler that’s outdated or not working properly? Whatever your situation, it’s best to have your boiler installed or repaired by a trained professional.
Fortunately, Plomberie Chauffage Normand Inc. is an Énergir-certified company that provides customers in Montreal neighbourhoods like Lasalle, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG), Outremont, Mount Royal, Montreal West and Westmount with comprehensive heating solutions. Here’s a short three-step guide outlining what’s involved in the process of having a natural gas boiler installed. 1. Mount the boiler There are two main types of boilers: wall-mounted and free-standing. The experts at Plomberie Chauffage Normand will recommend the best model to install as well as the required power of the boiler. If necessary, the new boiler can be moved to accommodate the space to be fitted out. 2. Hook up the boiler Once the boiler is mounted to the wall or fixed to the floor, one of our installers will connect it to the various lines and valves required to ensure it works properly, including:
A heating circuit
A power supply
A natural gas line
A water supply including an anti-backflow device to avoid cross-contamination
A flue pipe, such as a chimney or chimney cover with appropriate ducts for the type of appliance chosen
If necessary, a condensate drain with a neutralization cartridge will be installed to control the condensates of the heating appliance and thus protect the sanitary drain system
3. Set up the boiler Once all the necessary hookups are made, the installer will adjust the boiler’s water pressure levels. Then, they’ll put the unit into service and make the required adjustments. You will then be taught how your new heating system works. Boiler experts Do you live in Lasalle, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG), Outremont, Mount Royal, Montréal West, Westmount or the surrounding area?
